Michael Perna

Senior Technical Consultant

Michael has a BA in Urban Design and Architecture from New York University and has been involved in the concrete and construction industry for over 20 years. 
 
With an expertise and passion for concrete, Michael is extremely well versed in architectural concrete including design mixes, formwork systems, concrete placement and consolidation methodologies, concrete finishing, concrete tools, and product technologies which have been rapidly progressing.
 
While on past construction projects as a Concrete Foreman, Concrete Superintendent, Project Manager, and Quality Control Technician, Michael worked intimately with concrete formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete placement and consolidation methodologies to consistently achieve high quality results.
 
Some notable RHa projects Michael has provided architectural concrete consulting services include 152 Elizabeth Street (NYC), Kasmin Gallery (NYC), The Webster (Beverly Hills),  130 William street (NYC), Plano Performing Arts Center (Plano), Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Greenway (Austin), and Powerhouse Workshop (Brooklyn). These buildings showcase architectural concrete as the main aesthetic component. Michael works closely with architects, owners, engineers, and contractors while leading teams of concrete professionals to achieve award winning results.
