Matthew Terranova

Architectural Concrete Consultant

Matt is a concrete, formwork and VDC specialist with more than 15 years of construction and manufacturing experience.  He began his career with EFCO, one of the leading forming and shoring companies in the concrete construction industry. At EFCO he was responsible for the designing, detailing, and on-site installation of formwork and shoring systems for civil, commercial and residential cast in place projects.  As a Special Projects Manager with ULMA Construction, Matt oversaw the design, delivery and installation of advanced concrete formwork systems for mid and hi-rise projects in New York City. Including the Manhattan West building at Hudson Yards.

In 2015 Matt took on the role of technical advisor at a regional cast in place concrete shoring provider, where he served as a technical advisor. Matt provided guidance on the modernizing and organizing of the engineering and detailing departments, including the introduction and implementation of VDC processes and software. Matt was also significantly involved with design solutions and on-site installation of advanced shoring systems around the country. 
 
Since joining RHa Matt has most recently worked on the Princeton University Art Museum, the new Rolex Headquarters, the Obama Presidential Center and the Jean & Rick Edleman Fossil Park at Rowan University . In addition, Matt has provided implementation and process improvement services for concrete contractors seeking to integrate VDC & BIM solutions to advance their 3D and 4D capabilities.
