Kenneth G. Miller

Ken is a concrete and formwork specialist with more than 20 years of construction experience.  He began his career with a family owned New Jersey based company that specialized in the design and installation of concrete hardscapes.  As a Concrete Supervisor with Terra Tech Associates, Inc., Ken coordinated field personnel in all phases of concrete construction and assisted in the development of mix designs on many significant private and commercial concrete projects in New Jersey.  During his tenure with Terra Tech, he became ACI certified in concrete construction technology and became an active member in both the ACI New Jersey chapter as well as ACI International.

 

While a Concrete Superintendent at the United States Mission to the United Nations building in NYC, Ken worked closely with planners and management to ensure the proper installation of roll-back formwork for use with architectural SCC concrete. Along with quality assurance inspections he also supervised daily concrete placement.

 

Ken was significantly involved with design solutions and on-site installation of the hydraulic self-climbing formwork system used at the WTC - Tower One in New York City.  There, he served as a technical advisor to ensure formwork specifications for high performance, high strength concrete were met.

 

In 2012, Ken served as Concrete Project manager at the 432 Park Avenue tower in NYC.  Working as an owner's representative for Developer Macklowe/CIM, he ensured the architectural concrete superstructure was being built according to design specifications.  He also worked as a liaison between the contractor, construction management team, design team, and stakeholders of the project to facilitate architectural concrete decision-making and problem solving.
